If you use Okta as a platform to manage people within your organization or building and you would like to sync your Okta account with Swiftlane, we got you covered! This integration will allow you to seamlessly manage your Users.
To sync your Okta account with Swiftlane, please follow the steps below.
Make sure you are an Admin in your Okta account and log in. Once logged in head to your applications tab. Here you will be creating an app integration. Go ahead and click Create App Integration.
As you create the app integration, go ahead and name it Swiftlane so you can recognize within your Okta account (you can also add our logo if you like). Once you name it make sure you select "Refresh Token" so that the connection can continuously refresh between your Okta account and your Swiftlane account.
You will then add the following urls under the Sign-in redirect URLs. https://admin.swiftlane.com/integrations/okta and https://admin.swiftlane.com/login.
To finish setting up the app you will need to add the groups (if any) that you would like to sync with Swiftlane. If you have no specific groups you are looking to sync you can click on "Allow everyone".
Once you are done configuring the app, make sure to hit Save.
Lastly, you will set up the API scopes to make sure the sync is executed correctly by clicking on the Okta API Scopes tab. Please make sure to grant the API's displayed below.
After all the configurations are complete you can click on the General tab to view your Client ID and Client Secret. You will need both codes to configure your Okta on the Swiftlane Admin Dashboard.
To finalize the Okta setup you will go to the Integrations tab on the Swiftlane Admin Dashboard. You will install the Okta integration.
Here you will input your Okta domain. Ex: swiftlane.okta.com
Reminder: You can get the Client ID and Client Secret from your Okta Dashboard.
After Authenticating, you can select the groups you will be syncing into Swiftlane. You can select to Auto Sync and Auto Invite or you can Manually Sync at your preference.
