Are you attaching the STid reader to a metal surface?

STid readers should not be installed directly on metal surfaces, as advised in the Installation Guide included in the packaging.

You should place a 2" thick plastic between the reader and metal surface as it will cause interference. You can obtain some from Swiftlane if needed.
