How to do a Manual Reboot for Swiftlane Intercom Device

Method 1: Rebooting the POE Switch
Step 1: Unplug Power Source

Begin by disconnecting the power source of the POE switch that is connected to your Swiftlane intercom device. Locate the power cable and unplug it from the power outlet.

Step 2: Wait for 30 Seconds
Allow a brief 30-second interval to ensure a complete power cycle. This time allows the components to reset and refresh.

Step 3: Plug Power Source Back In

After the 30-second wait, plug the power source back into the POE switch. Ensure a secure connection to re-establish power.

Examples of possible POE Switches or injectors you would have received from Swiftlane (if applicable)

Method 2: Rebooting Through Ethernet Cable

Locate the Ethernet cable connected to the POE switch and unplug it. This step will temporarily disconnect the intercom device from the network.

Step 2: Wait for 30 Seconds
Allow a 30-second pause to ensure a complete disconnection. This period lets any lingering issues dissipate before reconnecting.

Step 3: Plug Ethernet Cable Back In

Reconnect the Ethernet cable to the POE switch. Ensure a secure and snug connection to restore network communication.
