There could be several reasons why you might not be receiving Intercom calls on your Android device. Here are some common issues and troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem:
Notifications: Make sure that all notifications should be enabled:
Long press on the "Swiftlane app" and open "app info", inside notifications section make sure all notifications are enabled (screenshots below)
Do Not Disturb: Ensure that your phone is not in Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. DND can silence calls and notifications. You can adjust DND settings in the phone's settings menu. If DND is enabled, we need to exclude the "Swiftlane App" from the DND restrictions.
Go to Settings-> "Notifications" or "Manage Notifications" section and Click on "Do not Disturb" option, Now click on "Apps" section and select Swiftlane app from the list of apps. (screenshots below). Please based on the device this setting may be a little different for you. (screenshots below)
Battery Optimization's: No restriction should be applied on the "Swiftlane App" related to battery optimization. Long press on the "Swiftlane app" and open "app info" inside "battery" section make sure it is set to "unrestricted" (screenshots attached)
You can also verify if the "Notifications" and "Battery optimization" are enabled or not by visiting the app and if you see any warning in the app related to battery or notification permissions that means it's not enabled. So make sure in the main screen of app there are no warning banners on top.
After that try calling back from the intercom directory yourself to verify if you are able to receive the calls or not. If you are not able to receive the intercom call while the app is being opened in the background, then next time close the app, reopen and again try calling yourself. You should be able to receive the call.
If all the above does not works uninstall and re-install the app again and see if that works. Reach out to us in support if you need further assistance.
