To Set a static IP, ensure that Kiosk Mode is disabled on the device. If the device had Kiosk Mode enabled previously, follow these steps:
1. Contact Swiftlane Support to have the device removed from kiosk mode.
2. Once kiosk mode is disabled, connect the device to the internet. This will enable the device to receive the notification to exit kiosk mode.
3. Ensure the device is connected to a network with a DHCP server, as it will automatically assign an IP address to the device.
Proceed with the following steps to manually update the static network settings:
Navigate to Settings on the device.
Select Network & Internet, then go to Advanced.
Choose Ethernet and scroll to the bottom of the Ethernet settings page.
Locate the Ethernet IP Mode option and set it to Static using the dropdown menu.
In the static IP configuration fields, update the following as needed:
• IP Address
• Gateway
• Subnet Mask
